De originaliteitprijs gaat echter naar de Franse ontwerper Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (momenteel zeer geliefd bij Nu Rave-kind’ren), die zijn modellen voorzag van dikke gouden kettingen met grote smileys, sterren, bliksemschichten en harten eraan, allemaal gemaakt van LEGO-steentjes. Ook waren er dikke schakelkettingen die volledig uit bouwstenen waren vervaardigd. Cool!
WAD-magazine (verkrijgbaar bij de betere boekhandel) ziet zijn lezers wel met een dikke rood-geel-blauwe LEGO-ketting over straat gaan en plaatste in haar nieuwste nummer een guide om de JCDC-kettingen zelf na te maken. Is dat dope of is dat dope?

People who already hang on for a while on this blogger know that I have a fetish tapes. CDs and records are fun and nice, but I simply grew up with straps, horrible big yellow Sony Walkman and mixtapes. Fortunately I am not the only one who can get excited of the tapes, take for example, Marcella Foschi. This Italian artist makes purses of our favorite sound.
